Nitro-Clear 750 contains only Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter cells.
Nitro-Clear 750 nitrifiers cannot be dried. Dry powder products consist of strains heterotrophic bacteria in their spore stage. Dry formulas cannot contain true nitrifiers, since true nitrifiers, unlike heterotrophs, are not spore forming and thus cannot be dried into powder products.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Nitrosomonas(ammonia-oxidizers) and Nitrobacter (nitrite-oxidizers), aerobic, gram-negative, chemolithic autotrophs for ammonia reduction.
Form: Liquid
Color: Pale Pink
Specific Gravity: 1.0
Contents: Selected bacteria suspended in liquid stabilizer/buffer
RATE of AMMONIA-N DEGRADATION - industrial concentrate
750 mg ammonia - N oxidized/hour/litre product.
- Effective even at relatively high BOD/COD (under 200 ppm)
- Effective over a wide temperature range (55° F to 105° F).
- Effective over a wide pH range (6.5 to 8.5). Performs best at 7 to 8 pH.
Wastewater Treatment
Nitro-Clear Concentrated Liquid F150 -
- It assists in the maintenance of a nitrified effluent in short sludge age systems.
- Establishes a nitrifying population in seasonally operated systems and ensures certain and rapid establishment of a nitrified effluent in newly constructed sewage treatment and industrial waste water treatment plant.
Available in a 1 gallon bottle. Shipped in refrigerated packs.
Storage: Keep refrigerated below 4 deg C. Takes up very little space in your refrigerator and is easy to transport. Concentrated product has a 1 year shelf-life when kept refrigerated, but diluted product only has a 4-6 month shelf-life at room temperature.
For Ponds
Nitro-Clear 750 - Liquid Live Micro Organisms
In 4 x one gallon plastic containers. Stabilized. Does not require refrigeration.
Nitro-Clear 750 for Ponds
Apply products in the evening.
Shake well.
Mix of contents of bottle with 25- 50 gallons of pond water. Do not use tap water. Stir well. Stir again before applying to the pond. Broadcast this mixture over the entire pond as evenly as possible.
Eco-Impact Industrial Concentrate
Keep refrigerated until ready to use. Shake well.
Directions: 1:54 ratio- mix with unchlorinated water.
1 diluted gallon per 100,000 gallons influent.
Makes 55 gallons of inoculant for 5.5MG influent

Nitrifiers are fragile microorganisms that are sensitive to acid despite the fact that they produce acid during oxidation of ammonia and nitrite.
If a large source of nitrogen is dumped into the environment, these organisms can potentially kill themselves by metabolizing it to nitric acid. Since they are also strict aerobes, nitrifiers can be killed if the introduction of wastes leads to excessive growth of other species that deplete oxygen.
This is why we always recommend mechanical aeration with 2 to 3 ppm of oxygen when degradation of ammonia is desired.
Nitrifiers consume 7.2 ppm of alkalinity for each ppm of ammonia oxidized to nitrate, so adjust alkalinity if necessary to stay within that range.
Effective over a wide temperature range (55° F to 105°F) and a wide pH range (6.5 to 9.0). Product performance will be adversely affected when water temperatures fall below 45° F.
They cannot be used with copper or algaecide products.
